This is a simple online chess game with a low level of difficulty, suitable for beginners and players with a low level of skill in chess.

The history of chess is rich and fascinating.

This ancient game has roots that stretch far into the past and has come a long way through different cultures and epochs.

CHESS

Chess originated in India, where the earliest form of the game known as “Chaturanga” emerged during the Gupta Empire around the 6th century CE.

This early form of chess represented a symbolic simulation of battle, with four basic types of units: infantry, cavalry, elephants, and chariots.

These elements later evolved into the modern pieces: pawns, knights, bishops, and rooks.

The game later spread to Persia, where it was called “Shatranj,” and the Persians contributed to the development of the game’s rules, including the concepts of “check” and “checkmate.”

During the Islamic expansion, chess reached the Arab world, where it became popular among intellectuals and rulers.

The Arabs adopted the game from the Persians and contributed to its spread throughout the Middle East, North Africa, and Spain.

In Europe, chess became popular in the Middle Ages, brought over by Muslim conquerors into Spain.

Over time, the rules of the game evolved, including the addition of the queen with powerful moves that transformed the dynamics of the game.

This evolution culminated in the modern chess we know today.

Since then, chess has become a global game, popular worldwide and played at all levels, from recreational players to top-level masters.

Although the rules haven’t changed much in the last few centuries, chess remains one of the most challenging and esteemed games of intellectual skill.
